our location

You can’t really beat our location on either a micro or macro level. We’re 5 minutes from some of the most spectacular coastline in Europe in a secret valley wild with flowers. Our 20 acres is spread out, up hill and down dale amongst woodland and meadow. For the rock stars amongst you who want real privacy we’re genuinely hidden from the world, although most couples are happy that we've got other lovely campers on site at the same time - and guess what? You'll barely know they're there, so no worries about exclusivity - even a famous soap star bride was happy with non-guests staying over the weekend of her celebrity wedding.

Cornwall has really upped its media game featuring big name chefs like Rick Stein and Nathan Outlaw to ITV's Doc Martin now networked all over the world. Then there's our homegrown shanty singers the Fishermen’s Friends of nearby Port Isaac and endless fashion shoots. Oh and did we forget to mention Poldark...

However away from the celebrity circuit Cornwall's still able to exert a pull all of it's own; high hedgerows and crashing seas, a safe place for children to run and play outside, unchanged pubs with open fires, deep rock pools and fresh air alive with salt and wild garlic.

We're slap bang in the middle of stunning North Cornwall, but if you’re not sure exactly where we are look at our lovely location map.

How to Find Us

from the north:
Take the M5 to Exeter then the A30 to Okehampton and Launceston. Turn right onto the A395 Camelford. Just before Camelford turn right at Collan's Cross onto the B3314 to Delabole. Follow the road out of Delabole for a couple of miles then turn left for St Teath at the Port Gaverne crossroads (do not take the first road on the left signposted St Teath just after Delabole). Stay on that road (again do not turn left to St Teath) curving around to the right, over an old railway bridge, then take the first right just before Nomansland Cottage and down the grassy track.

from the south:
Take the A30/A39 or A389 to Wadebridge. Stay on or join the A39 at Wadebridge heading north (signposted Bude & Camelford). After about 3 miles you’ll see a service station at St Kew Highway on your left. Exit the A39 here (there’s a slip road) and keeping the service station & Red Lion pub on your left go straight up the lane in front of you. In about 2.5 miles you’ll come to a hamlet called Trelill, go straight on for another half a mile until you come to an open grassy crossroads. Go straight on again (signposted Delabole) and our main entrance is about 500m on the left hand side opposite a white cottage. So we’re about 3 miles from St Kew Highway in a northerly direction.

by air:
Newquay Airport is our closest, about 40 mins away, with flights from Heathrow or Gatwick. Prices range from £50-£200 – you may get lucky or not.

by rail:
Our closest train station is Bodmin Parkway, on the Paddington-Penzance line. Its 4-5 hours from London & about 18 miles or a £40+ taxi ride to our venue. There aren’t really any connecting buses that will get you reliably closer, Wadebridge is your best bet but it's still over 5 miles away.
